40MW Wind Farm
EIAR
We provided the noise and vibration chapter of the Environmental Impact Assessment Report to support the planning application of this wind farm scheme.
Our report included assessment of construction/decommissioning and operational phases. It also included cumulative impact assessment of several existing and planned developments in the vicinity.
The full WEDG06/ETSU compliant assessment included a comprehensive background noise monitoring programme and extensive noise propagation modelling.
We advised on mitigation measures including serrated edge blades, turbine locations, directional characteristics, and curtailment options under specific conditions.
