Keavan's Port, an 89-bedroom hotel operated by JD Wetherspoon. The courtyard area lies between the new and old parts of the hotel and the noise from the patrons led to a noise complaint.

Working closely with the architect and client, we modelled various practical noise control measures including barriers and operational restrictions.

A combined strategy of physical barrier and reduction in occupancy was proven to be the most cost-effective solution.
