Synchronous Compensators are a zero-carbon technology that provides inertia and reactive power system services to the electricity grid. They are a critical element to manage fluctuating loads on the network supporting an increase in renewable energy generation.

We conducted a fully compliant BS4142 impact assessment in support of the planning application. Our impact assessment included cumulative assessment of other permitted developments, a comprehensive background survey, noise propagation modelling and mitigation measures to ensure the design criteria would be met.
